Asus ROG Phone - Is Gaming the new cool?
We've seen a huge blast in gaming from the year 2017. People are going crazy about gaming, and that's what companies are targeting. We've also had some gaming phones in market like the Xiaomi Black shark and Razor Phone, and now we've got a new competitor, Asus ROG Phone.

Asus announced this ROG phone in June, 2018.The phone is going to be launched on 22nd October. So as you can see, the whole concept about this phone is gaming. That's why you get that gaming machine kinda look, with the RGB lightings are some more features that we'll talk about.
It packs a Snapdragon 845, with Adreno 630 GPU and 8GB of RAM. It comes with an internal storage of 128/512GB, so you don't need to worry about an external storage.
It has an Aluminium frame and a glass back and a 6.0 inches 18:9 AMOLED HDR display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160, screen density of 402 ppi and refresh rate of 90 Hz. Let's get to the camera, although it's not a camera based phone but it has a good camera. It has 12MP (f/1.7, 24mm wide, 4 axis OIS, Dual pixel PDAF) + 8MP (f/2.0, 12mm) which can record 2160p at 30/60fps, 1080 at 30/60/240fps and 720p at 30/240fps with secondary camera of 8MP (f/2.0, 24mm wide). Let's talk about the audio, as we expect a high quality audio while gaming. It has two front firing speakers, and also a DTS:X audio driver which can easily drive headphones with heavy impedance. It has bluetooth 5.0 and NFC. Although there is no confirmation of IP certification, but Asus calls it water resistance. It has all the basic sensors, but it also has a Ultrasonic sensor for AirTriggers an grip press. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It has a 4000 mAh battery and the phone supports Quick charge 4+.

You can enjoy gaming at it's best on this phone. It has also a gaming based UI that has many features like do not disturb, which ensures that you enjoy games without any interruption from calls, messages or any notifications.
So if you are a gaming freak and love playing games on phone, they you can definitely buy it.
The pricing is expected to be a whopping $1150 and 63,999 for India.

So here's the conclusion, should you buy it? It depends on what are you interested in. If you are a heavy gamer, that loves gaming on phone only then you should buy it otherwise you can go for cheaper options which has the same hardware with little compromises.
