LG V40 ThinQ - The Phone with 5 cameras
Recently LG launched it's V40 thinq or V40, whatever you're going to call it. So is it the best so far?, although it's not the flagship range of LG which they call "G series". But it could be, as it has a heavy flagship specs. Basically it's a G7 with some new features, and yes More cameras.
So let's get to the cameras, which is it more focused on. It comes with 5 cameras, 3 on the rear, and 2 on the front. You will be asking, why so many cameras?. Well they are all there for different tasks. Lets jump into the technical things now, its a triple camera shooter on the rear where the main camera is standard 12MP (f/1.5, 27mm, with OIS, PDAF and Laser AF) the second camera is a Ultra wide 16MP (f/1.9 16mm) and the third one is a telephoto 12MP (f/2.4, 2x optical zoom, OIS, PDAF) which can record 2160p at 30/60fps, 1080p at 30/60/240fps and 720p at 480fps. And the front camera is a standard 8MP (f/1.9, 26mm) and second one is a wide 5MP (f/2.2, 21mm).

It comes with a Snapdragon 845, Adreno 630 GPU and 6GB RAM with the storage being only 64GB, but you can expand that to 2TB with a dedicated SD card slot. It has an Aluminium frame with glass back and a 6.4 inches 19.5:9 OLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a screen density of 537 ppi. It has an IP68 certification, so it's dust/waterproof (1.5m for 30 mins). It has a Corning Gorilla glass 5 protection, and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. It also has the Hi-Fi Quad DAC like the G7, so expect some magical outputs from the heaviest of them headphones. The battery is increased from the earlier G7, so it's 3300 mAh not that much but still acceptable. It's has Quick charge 3.0 so no need to worry for charging.
So is this phone for you? Maybe or maybe not. If you love stock android, then this phone is definitely not for you. The skin is the only thing that can deflect buyers, although the Specs are excellent. These are that kind of phones, which can turn heads or can even get passed by without getting noticed. So it's up to you, if you love cameras in a smartphone, then you should definitely check this out.
The pricing is $899 for USA. The phone is yet to be launched in India, but the pricing is expected to be 61,990.
