Huawei Mate 20 Pro - This is not made to be Underrated!

           

So there's a new Huawei phone in the market. I'll tell you some stats that you'd probably know, Huawei has left Apple behind to jump on to the second position for selling the most phones till now globally with a whopping 54.2 millions units while Apple stands at the third place with 41.3 million units. And now Huawei has announced it's new Mate 20 Pro, which Huawei doesn't calls flagship. But the specs doesn't let us believe that.

Although this phone is not in a great hype, because people are waiting for the P30 Pro. Which is going to blow the market and competitors when it arrives. But till then let's not talk about that, and focus on this Mate 20 Pro.








This Phone has the latest HiSilicon Kirin 980 Processor, which is the best so far by Huawei. And the world's first 7nm mobile chipset. It comes with Mali-G76 MP10 GPU and 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage expandable upto 256GB via NM card. You will be thinking, what is a NM card? It a new invention by Huawei, which is a memory card, but in smaller form factor same as a nano sim card in size. They call it a Nano Memory card.

Coming to the design, It rocks Aluminium Frame with Glass back and also has an IP68 certification. And now you can keep it in 2m water for 30mins.

It has a great display of 6.39 inches 19.5:9 AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 and a screen density of 538 ppi.

The Phone runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie.

Coming to the main highlight of this phone, It's cameras.
This Phone's main camera has a triple camera setup, but this time there are more useful lenses than the monochrome sensor. There is a 40MP (f/1.8, 27mm wide, OIS, PDAF/laser AF) + 20MP (f/2.2, 17mm Ultrawide, PDAF/laser AF) + 8MP (f/2.4, 80mm Telephoto with a 5x Optical Zoom, OIS, PDAF/laser AF) which can record 2160p at 30fps, 1080p at 30/60fps and 720p at 960fps(Super Slo-Mo) which features Leica optics Lenses. And a secondary camera of 24MP (f/2.0, 26mm wide).
And the DXO marks tells everything about these cameras.

So we know this phone has already the best camera in any smartphone so far.

This Phone has a 4200mAh battery, which you can charge quickly by the 40W in-box Fast charger or Wirelessly by a 15W Qi charger.

This phone has some cool features like Reverse wireless charging, by which you can charge any device that supports wireless charging by simply putting close the two phones together. Isn't it cool? And this Phone also has a In-Display Fingerprint Reader, while OnePlus is still teasing us.

The Phone is coming in 5 colors, that are Emerald Green, Midnight Blue, Twilight, Pink Gold, Black.

   

It's going be interesting to see how Huawei does it's pricing. Well if we make a guess for the pricing, it will easily be over a $1000-1100 for USA and for India it could be anywhere near 70,000.


Well let's get to some Opinions. This phone has no cons, except a big notch. But we get it, they need it to place the sensors for the face unlocking. Another thing is the EMUI, I hope Huawei replaces it with stock Android or Anything like Android One. But we also know, it's never going to happen. But Either way, it's a great phone.



But the sad part is, phones like this didn't get that much attention just because of phones which are going to be successor to these or are more hyped.

I'm not saying that the P30 Pro will be a bad phone, But because of the hype we're missing on phones like these.
